Project description: Following up on reports prepared for the municipality of Utrecht in previous years, Horwath HTL was appointed to deliver a new report on the current hotel market landscape. Developments and results from 2014-2017 have been reflected on whilst a forecast has been delivered for the period 2017-2024.

Horwath HTL solution: Through analyzing the supply and demand of hotels, other segments and target markets, short stay and proprietary supply, a calculation of the market space and comparison with the planned supply, Horwath HTL came up with a clear conclusion and advice.

Project status: The monitoring of the hotel market in the municipality of Utrecht has been completed and forms the basis of the future strategy of the municipality concerning hotels.
